Biography:
Grew up in a place called Te Whetu which is a town that no longer exists. The hills are getting steeper but I can still get up them. Until six years ago I farmed red deer and was fortunate enough to have fallow over my back fenceline. I mostly hunted down the back of Minginui where the deer had a better chance of getting away with their skin intact.

    Even though I farmed red deer and I like to eat it, my answer is Fallow by a country mile. As 7mmsaum says it is finer grained and more tender.

    They're OK Gibo. heavier than the Back Country but you don't need to rehydrate (only heat). Of course a Hero gutted bugger like me needs to but the two meal sized pack and add it to a sachet of Uncle...
