   I had a 30/06 for sale before Christmas. The BLRs are great, a little on the heavy side, but fun and easy to use. Definitely worth a look. Especially the takedowns. Saw one a few years back in 450...

   I've been seriously considering similar to what one of the members here did with a subsonic .308 Baikal. Except mine is in x39. Clubbie maybe? Agree about being a sweet lil bush rifle.

    A 30/30 Marlin ( scope mounting is easy , and they tend to be more accurate than a Win 94 ) with a half mag tube ( allows for an over the barrel suppressor) shooting 180 gn bullets and a low power...

    .30/30 is pretty useful out to at least 150 metres, way better than any pistol caliber. The .50-110 WCF was probably the best of the traditional lever action rounds in its day but well overshadowed...
