   I think the point he was making that ballistics/recoil, the medium 6.5 calibers have the 308 beat. All will kill medium game just fine at sensible ranges but the 6.5s will do so with less drift, drop...

    I can see where 7mmwsm is coming from. The permit fulfils a legal purpose only. It does nothing to ascertain your proficiency in the bush or with a firearm/weapon. It does nothing to improve safety...

    I do not use nor necessarily advocate the use of thermals but I do find it amusing that DOC ban them on public land during the hours of daylight. Nighttime I understand as it’s a safety thing....
