Very entrepreneural of you, I assume the fert, netting and rotary hoes would be for their kumura plants. I'm sure they won't be growing tomato plants as the was was brought to NZ by westerners and...

You are looking at this with typical narrow mind. Instead think of the potential business opportunity that has just arisen. Open a shop in Galatea or Murupara that sells Fertiliser, netting ,...

A bag of sliced biltong goes a long way. Just watch that you drink water as you eat, because it makes you very thirsty.

Not sure what it will cost me yet, and don't really care to be honest. It's the lightest, stiffest, sexiest available and it's locally designed and manufactured. I'll let you know after I pick it up...

Good stuff. Some bloody steep country. I love the quality/expensive rifle and scope setup, with a sling that looks like you pinched off your surf board, and tied on with a bit of bailing twine....

I like the little gear improvements shown and the subtle demos. A lot of good info if you look for it

I remember the hellabys tinned lambs tongues. Back in the 70s one was always in the pack as a treat. I'm convinced the world would be a better place if we all ate more offal. Except tripe.

I’m in a phase of braising everything right now. Hard to stuff it up and epic flavour for the amount of effort you have to put in. Cheeks, hocks, short ribs, chuck and neck all come out awesome.

Treat your kitchen to one of those pressure cooker crockpot things when on special. Larger one should fit shanks well. Venison shanks falling off the bone in 50min cooking time. Does take about...

Whatever you choose, be sure to practise with it before going hunting. I learnt this the hard way a few weeks back. I’d been hitting gongs reliably at 380m, then took aim at a fallow 230m across...

I've tried a few different types of rests/shooting stix over the years. I've found this the best for me. I used 8mm alluminium tubing from bunnings for the long ones. But 12mm wooden dowel is...

Do very similar but loop the wrist straps. Have shot a fair way with this setup. Pretty stable and I have them out anyway.

Just stand pack on its end, put riffle over top, pull riffle into shoulder while pulling down on front part of sling. Riffle very solid with no movement (locked in ready to go). This will give you...
