    I think if you lend something out then you cannot expect it back in the same condition. A good mate or someone with high morals will look after it and return it clean and they are the ones you don't...

    Generally I tape the barrel. If it is a breezy sort of a day I will put cotton on. On a still day I find I spend too much time watching the end of the barrel and not enough looking up trees for deer....

    Aren't vibration and shock two different things????????????? EeeBees - could you not leave the dog at home (1 problem solved) and use the whistle to call the deer in? (2nd problem solved) :)
