As above , should regularly range 1km+ . Problem usually is unreflective target, wrong mode or shaky hands. Try with a solid rest like a tripod

Depends what country you’re hunting too, if you’re the tops, open terrain or hunting rabbits on farm land etc, binos will be more important as you can sneak closer with a shit scope but you can’t...
