The firearm needs to be very very cheap or special & not available here to make it worth while to import. Before the changes the process wasn't overly difficult, that may have changed now...

My comment was tongue in cheek. Sorry. :) The M12 is great for what it is. And yes, I'd place it above the Tikka T3 in build quality too, although performance wise, I imagine they'd be equal....

@Dama_dama A staple in Fiordland is good old black polythene. You can easily buy if from your local building merchant and its reasonably cheap at about $80 for a 25 metre roll.The downside is I think...

They used to hire planes to fly around looking for those tarps. The amount they found made it worthwhile doing ha ha. Everyone seemed to have one to cover the firewood etc ;)
