Biography:
Born in Northern Ireland. Moved to NZ in 2005. Been hunting since I was big enough to follow my Dad. Shot mostly gamebirds, foxes and bunnies in UK. Mad keen fly angler which brought me to NZ. Got back into hunting here after a boys weekend in 2010
Married with 2 kids, both grown up. My wife's pretty good at letting me out but usually other stuff takes up the weekends.

    It looks great but like all technology - it's only as good as the guy using it and a reliance on it isn't the panacea. Not everyone could have the IRIS reflectors, so if it doesn't alarm - BANG?...

    For us poor folk who have no space to reload and wives that would go beserk, factory ammo is great. Only need one round to drop a deer- so why bother investing in the equipment :)

    I use Strelok on my phone and winchester 40gr subsonics in JW15. Shot rabbits out to 160m with a mildot scope in calm conditions.
