If you can find a used March for you budget then I'd say that's the way to go. Good history with reliable tracking, good glass, simple reticle in most of the 3-24 models, not too heavy, 30mm tube.

The PRS bag is much "deader" than a pack - much faster to get a stable position at NPA I reckon. The rifle beds into it rather than sliding around. Very good in rocky country.
