If I end up shirtless I will put my jacket on (which I always carry), or use my survival bag (which I always carry). If the injury is life threatening, I will activate my PLB (which I always carry)...

I have been using Inox for years (not tested of course...) and am very happy with it. They also do a product called Lanox which has lanolin in it. A bit stickier.
