Mostly 2 hundy because head and neck shooting. I think the 53gr beats the 55gr. Fired up with BM2 they really tag deer very well. Becomes a confidence thing after a while. They are an amazing pill....

Aside from the issues around tuning. The rifle will never shoot the 95gr TMK. That bullet requires a 1:9" twist and Howa .243s come with a 1:10". The 95gr Targex will stabilise.

I wouldn't be too concerned about compressing it a bit. My 308 barnes load is full to top of brass with 2206h so pretty heavily compressed with no issues. You could also use a drop tube that helps...
