   Unless things are somehow different in the Southern Hemisphere (apart from being upside down), they will be visited annually, and 'the rut' won't have a specific start or end date, there can be false...

   Absolutely no harm in asking, but yes I did multiple bump tests, saftey on safety off, open close the bolt saftey on and off, trigger pull whilst saftey on. It's as safe as it was prior to adjusting.

   Might not be much help but I've used one on a semi with 3 1/2 inch magnum loads which rattle you pretty well and it survived 25 plus rounds goose shooting better than my shoulder.
