    i hunt with a 270, i have no issues dropping deer from 20m to 500m, a good shoulder/lower neck shot will drop any deer on the spot. i used factroy soft point ammo bought from any hunting store...

    iv got a zeiss hd5, best scope iv ever owned, i shoot deer over 500m with it and could easily do much further. easy to dial, clear glass, not too big.
