The Turangi fishery is going well at the moment, maybe the cold snap and or moon phase? Had 4 days, landing a fish per half hour of fishing on average. Only one slab, and about 50% freshies.

They wanted to repontoon it which was nearly the same price as a new one. They recommended 999r and desmodur but the same issue arises as I don't need much and everyone sells 1 litre plus.

About 300m for me. Otherwise I try and get closer. I know my 308 can kill much further out, but I don't trust my own ability to make a vital hit too much further.
