I have a 2-10 VX5HD firedot on my 6.5x55 10x is plenty at 500yds and the advantage of the 2-10 is it's smaller and lighter. I like the 2x, with firedot on I can just keep both eyes open which I...

I’ve got these rangefinding Leica binos, not sure which model, but they have the inbuilt inclinometer, and the clarity is superb. Pm me an offer if interested....

Leupold did make the older non-HD VX6 2-12 with a CDS ZL2 turret; my 308 currently wears one (firedot with windplex). It is a very good scope and I like that it’s a bit shorter and less bulky than...

Southerner223 just one thing to remember for the older VX6 2-12x42 if you do go for it - it uses the older version of the CDS turret which is nowhere near as good as the CDS ZL2 turret on the HD...

I run a 18" Tikka .260, was thinking the same as you when I was looking. I liked the 2-10 for the same reason as you - it has that lower power 2 vs the 3 of the 3-15. In the end I got swayed on 3-15...

I wouldn't worry about it, happens with some dies, and not others, its negligible and purely cosmetic. Load some up, go shoot some shit, problem gone.

Greetings Southerner223, Looks like a die problem to me. Try a different die. Are you cleaning the outside of the cases, especially the necks, before you size. If not this could be you problem. I...

Just buy a 7mm remmag standard 24" barrell cut 6" off throw an over barrel supressor on it and you will have a bushpig capable of shooting 7-800 yds if required. Better BC's in 7mm as others have said

Here's an update of how things progressed. I eventually cut the barrel to 21 inches and suppressed my rem mag with a dpt. Talked to a few people and got some reloader 23, 162eldx and loaded them...

Managed to bag a buck on Stewart Is. trip. The 168gn went straight through and would probably try a much lighter bullet next time. It was an unexpected 'long range' shot too at 350ish yards. ...
