When I posted online about my latest rifle build I had Maniatis message me, criticising my choice to go with a DPT suppressor and suggesting to get one of his. He then went on to essentially slander...

VX6 is a huge jump up over the VX3. I would keep it simple and go a good old VX5 3-15x44 or Swaro Z5 3.5-18x44. A Swaro Z3 would probably fit the bill nicely too.

Realise this is an old thread of mine that’s been re opened. I ended up running them at 2600fps from my 284 and they were deadly. Nothing walked away from being hit by them at 20 - 500m.

I stick to my normal year round pants and then add or remove base layers/outer layers. I get far to hot when climbing to be able to wear a warm stand alone pant but that’s me personally.

I recently got to upgrade from my HD-B Geovids to the new Swaro EL TA setup. My honest first impressions were that they were not that natural in the hands, definitely preferred the geovids in this...

Just typical of factory ammo really. You can find comfort in knowing if you shot the same brand of ammo in a lesser calibre say a 6.5cm then it would still be slower so you still have the gain over...

There’s a number of reasons why it might fail if provided all sorts of random scenarios, just like every piece of equipment. That reason seems pretty ridiculous though lol.

I have the Inreach Mini. One of the best purchasers I have made. I run the cheapest plan and just go over when I do extra things which doesn’t end up being anymore expensive then having the more...

I’m a sucker for a bit more magnification these days. Both my scopes are Swaro Z5 3.5-18 and for most longer shots i’m on 15 - 18x. Bloody handy when doing range work trying to be pinpoint accurate...
