   Both Burris and Nikon make scopes especially for the .22 rimfie , they have a ballistic reticle that works well , my burris works out to 150 yrds and is very simple and fast to use.

   So a civilian wins over a soldier in a single match setting? It makes the civilian a better shot that day, but not a better sniper. Sniping is of course whole lot to do with with other matters...

    Ditto. Did my bushranger last year. When I first got the rifle I could not hit an A4 sheet of paper at 100m. Bedded the action with Devcon, floated the barrel, polished the bolt to smooth things out...
