I've got a 10/22 and they are a good gun but the trigger is heavy. I dropped in a Timney aftermarket trigger but it cost a bomb - there was an earlier thread somewhere around here about trigger...

JW15 as a first rifle. Accurate, reliable, cheap. 10-22 - burns ammo and needs fair amount of servicing to keep functioning.
