I dont know if they are trends, more whats practical for the user. You buy a new 4x4 and put mud tyres on it, fashion? No just practical, well for normal people anyway no doubt some do it for glamour

Yeah I sold my Sightron SIII 6-24 and wish I didn't. I'd advise against the 8-32, the extra magnification just isn't needed in FTR, or any shooting really.

It is bloody hard to go past the Sightron S3. It is a good scope at a very good price. I have the S3 SS, 6-24x50 Mil Dot which I use out to 1000 metres with my .30-06 and I am delighted with it. ...
