I’m getting 2700 with the Berger classic hunters (135gr) very accurate and kills well.

I had one in in 16.5". Loaded 123gr ELD M with 2209 and was doing 2650fps. I thought of it as a super Grendel.

An eagle eye would of seen a few in the hut. Probably not something they want to show, I'm sure they seen a few but poaching or general wandering of people probably puts them off showcasing it to...

Stocky liked post by S.E.G On thread : Short barrel 6.5 creedmoor - who's done it / how does it go?
Nil issues with going to 16.5” I was getting 2435fps from my 16.5” 6.5 Creedmoor with 140gr ELD-M’s, it will be the best $85.00 you spend on the rifle, but in saying that I have just gone to 12.5” on...

I run a 16" 6.5 CM in combination with a DPT and a 2.5-10x Bushnell on top. Load the 129gr ABLR with some 2209 and get 2500fps out of it. Shot plenty of goats out to 400m with it, a stag from 30m, a...

Stocky liked post by Daggers_187 On thread : SCALPEL FOR HUNTING ?
Ok, so just my two cents. I have been using an Eaglehawk knives talon exclusively for the last three years. Its a steel handle which accepts any number 4 scalpel blade. I have had two iterations,...

Stocky liked post by Scott Cowan On thread : Lockdown light weight carbon wrap stock build - Here we go
Hi Stocky, I got the weight down to 500g on this one, it wasn't such a big deal now that I have done the featherweight build. 650g finished would be nice on this build... this one is more about...

Stocky liked post by on2it On thread : How to manage recoil?
While much of this is accurate I'm not sure about point 3. Longer barrelled rifles experience less recoil simply because they are heavier. Recoil is Newton's Third Law of Motion - the 'action' of...

Greetings Bumblefoot, I would definitely hang on to those FL dies. With them you only need to find someone with a press. FL sizing for a .303 takes some care. You only want to size the case just...

Stocky liked post by Moa Hunter On thread : do you shoot hinds???
The repellant is dried blood powder. It is very easy to add to the grain mix before the meal goes through the pelleter. Just the same as adding a couple of bags of APR or Dairy / stud, mineral mix. ...
