The extra low in 30mm works fine with the 30mm VX5 2-10x42 on a Tikka T3x so would work okay on the 30mm VX3i 4.5-14x42 and give you an even lower cheek weld.

I can understand where you're coming from, OP. Your stance is very 'tweed coat and top hat'; one which goes against the grain of today's thinking. Perhaps you could take a time machine back to the...

If you want to fill your freezer without poaching or having a bomb up that leaves a lot of rotting meat, then I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It's where you use thermals to be a...

For me it’s a bridge too far and tips the balance too much in the hunter’s favour. I have always been of the opinion that the hours of darkness give our prey a little respite, which is now being...

That will depend on the projectile used. But in the case of my 7mm-08 and 162gr ELD-M I'm restricted by the magazine length, it's a long way off the lands. I'm away from home so I can't measure it....

Haha, my setup looks pretty much the same as it was in previous post (page 6), only I decided to lengthen the foregrip a bit. It has gotten a little bit lighter though, Jacinda brought my DPT and I...
