   If your true flight is really a grand. I'd recommend going down the path of a Brux or Bartlien from Cam at Alpine Precision (he sponsor's this site through advertising) . They cost less than that...

   The picatinny rail doesn't give any extra elevation. It's not a 20moa rail. Mine was the same but I epoxied it down and its been sweet. I think the point is so people can run quick release rings
