    There was a guy advertising on Trademe a couple of weeks back that did firearm engraving. Something engraved on the floorplate would be pretty cool. I can't see his ad anymore, but you might find...

    Consistent cheek weld and no parallax is not a problem. I've just switched to a VX6 2-12x42 with no parallax adjustment. It wasn't too hard to shoot 0.6MOA group at 550yds.
