Why build a short light rifle and then and put a big heavy scope on it? I've got a Bushnell 6500 2.5-16x42 on mine. It is suppose to be 17oz but is actually 19oz. I wouldn't want any bigger. Options...

Get young birds and don't let them out for 6 weeks. When you do let them out they might stay away for a few days before they come home. If you do get older birds get a few pairs, it won't be long...

Add some brush to the maimai at Wolfes Rd on Saturday. The lake edge was still quite a way from the maimai, but all this rain should have solved that problem. Roll on Saturday!

My Model 7 in 7SAUM feeds a 140accubond load well. My 162 amax is too long for the magazine so I single feed those with no issues. Good luck finding a model 7 in 7SAUM, unless you already have one...
