Not 280ai but 6.506ai built on Sako 75 that started life as 2506. The mag feeding can be tricky due to the steep 40 degree shoulder on the ai, and you need to careful and not too quick on the bolt or...

3-9x is a bit "old school" now as most manufactures use a bigger zoom range than 3x. Nothing wrong with them but 2-10x is also worth a look. Bushnell Elite 4200 2-10x is good for the money as are the...

My grandfather inoculated me at birth against The Cool Factor and consequently I am immune to massively overpriced blinged up Sako 85s, no matter how light they are.

2-10 vx5 zl2 if the budget will extend to it, if not, 3-10 vx3 will do all you need. The vx5 and equivelent level scopes really are a big step up in optical quality, not needed to shoot animals...

I shoot 6.5 ttsx 100 gr at 3300fps (not a creedmore). 350 yds is fine I don't know where they run out of steam but have dropped a big boddied stag on the spot at 380.

As above, id prolly go for 140gr something or other. I use 120gr speer gold dot in a 260. Great near and medium.but if I had a dially scope on the rifle id prolly stick to 140gr though:
