    2013. 6.5x55. He spooked and was running up hill through the scrub with his hinds. Hit between the shoulder blades at about 150 yards. 133977 2013 was a good roar 133978

    Are you looking at that one on Trade Me? :) Excellent barrels. Steve Blenkarne used them here in NZ back in the day and he turned out very accurate rifles. I had one.

    I put a Bartlein 2b on my Tika 7mmsaum but had Mitch spin it down to a Tikka profile. Came out very well.

    That's great. Im impressed that there is a real edge there over the "old" 6.5's in a shorter barrel and am happy to resile from my former scepticism about the caliber not giving a decent edge over...
