    bingo! percieved better consistency as well as later onset of "pressure sign" despite nominal max pressure being the same 5c is not cold. essentially dont need to worry about cold in nz......

    SRP 308 cases are a wonderful thing. Normally better ES & SD's & cases last longer due to more "meat" in the case head. Nothing wrong with standard LRP but I'll pick the SRP every time if that's an...

    Maybe it hides it better? I’d imagine the safe pressure for the cartridge would be the same on both but I could be wrong

    Pros : SR slightly cheaper for primers and allegedly better brass life, some people swear better SDs but hard to quantify Cons: the Americans reckon you can get hang fires in the extreme cold
