While we’re on this topic, where in northern Taranaki is good for a fallow? I hear that Taumaranui area holds them, but have only come across reds so far.

Anywhere from Mt Messenger up to Marokopa. Every time I take that road I see hundreds of goats, along rivers, on slips, and up in the bluffs, especially around Mokau/Awakino.

I assume you’re interested in hunting deer. Read all of Lentle and Saxton’s books, and get out as much as you can. Statistically, a lot more deer are shot in the bush than at the keyboard.

I’m a tradie and my colleagues and I have used them all. Have had bad runs with dewalt and milwaukee. Panasonic are what we all use now, definitely the best of the current crop.
