The only truly successful system is the press bolted firmly to a solid bench. I have mine at the right-hand end, reasonably out of the way and it makes a useful coat and hat rack as well.

Practice more with the .22lr more before hunting with it is the answer. Bunnies should be dead on the spot with it. Poor shot placement with a .223 sub won't perform much better, quite likely worse...

not every area has access to goats.....I have to travel 3hours to get to areas that have goats...and arrange access...not feasible for something I wont eat....we do our bit on bouncy ozzie...
