I got it from the original owners son, who emigrated here. His Grandfather and Dad both used it. He told me his Dad used to go off on 6 week hunting marches. On one such trip they stayed with the...

Hmmm - It was an outfit called "Cedar Lodge" but it was bought out and since packed up - about two years ago. It supposedly operated under a James Scott arrangement of some sort. My cousin (who...

About 5 years ago we flew into the top of the Craigie Burn (next door). There was a bit of deer sign but we didn't see any on our side. We did see plenty of and shot one chamois. The most of...

"out there" with a 22 is probably anything past 120M . . . . haha rule of thumb is shooting a 22 is the equivalent of shooting a CF at 3 times the distance, so at 22 target at 300 is about the same...

Yup - most modestly priced scopes (like you might use on a 22) don't have enough adjustment (25 or 30 Mils) even on a slanted base to get "right out there" for competitions . . . . All the ones I...

What Flyblown says about power is correct. The guys I know who win at 22 comps run thier scopes at 6x for most shots. My own 22 comp scope is a 3.5-10 and I've never found it a limitation.
