I think I'm going to go 7.62x39, I've got a Howa Mini set aside at a LGS but have to decide by close of play tomorrow. Its got just a smidge more oomph an the BLK, enough I feel to be effective on...

Thanks Chris, of-course its only 1/2 the 2.4mm but . . . my local GC was good enough to try a .473 bolt in a 223 and while it fed fine, it wouldn't extract, the claw can't get far enough across to...

I'd be fairly cautious about 56 Gns, even 53 gns is likely to be around 70,000 psi, which is pretty hot, the Q/L data for 56 gns says 90,000 psi which is well beyond "hot"

I'd bet an Omark M44 with double aperature sights and anything other than really flogged out barrel will score high teens at the very least in this challenge as long as there is a reasonable shooter...

If I was at home I'd run it in Quickload for you but I'm not. Google the 60% rule for H-4895 (the same thing) and I'm sure you'll find heaps of data.

A scope is no problem, any old 4x will do, you just need to check it'll adjust and hold a zero. Heaps on TM for under a hundy.
