    I would be getting a copy of the Police report and lodging a claim with your general insurer. Leupold are unlikely to view that damage as consistant with "normal" wear and tear or use .

    Not meaning to be rude but isn't the solution "learn to use the trigger" properly? I have a Savage Model 12 with Accu-trigger and have never had a problem with it.
