    Bored dog crammed into back of ute during long drive vs tired dog that’s just humped it’s way into the back country and is keen on a sleep. Time to let the dog thing go I reckon lol.

    Exactly and I’m sure if a couple of Swedish trampers had turned up the dogs would have slept outside, a hut is just a dog kennel for people anyway :D:D

    Why the Antagonism ? Cant we just take the show for what it is and enjoy it . It is by far the best NZ hunting/outdoor production going.

    I went all considerate and put my dog in the kennel at the Oamaru hut. The other occupants begged me to bring her in. The howling, complaining was too much for them. Used to have her own jacket...
