Yes rebarreled not reamed. My rifle was a stock standard 1:12 223rem T3 that I picked up cheap on Trademe for $700 then sent it off to the gunsmith for a new 1:7 12” barrel with the same Tikka...

The other option is try and find a cheap stainless 222 or 223 and rebarrel it with a Trueflie or other top quality fast twist barrel.

Kimber Adirondack are the only factory stainless steel bolt action that I know of. Gun city had some semi custom Howa, CZ and Tikka T3 in stainless made up a year or two ago with cheap suppressors.

That was also one of the reasons I stopped using 130gr SST on deer from blowing up on the skin. During a roar one of my mates put 5 130gr SST rounds on a stag at 240m then I had to put a 140gr AB to...

I really like the performance of the Nosler 150gr LRAB and it worked well both far and near, I adjusted the G1 BC to .611 in my Sako Finnlight. In closer ranges under 400m the 140gr AB was a good...

I’m guessing they are going supersonic, have you chronyed them for velocity? The hushpower suppressors are cheap and tinny a mates one has dented easily.

I use a MTB inner tube on mine, it quite, cheap, water proof and haven’t melted it yet with a high rate of fire on goats. Can also use it as a fire starter if needed.
