OK, as I say I'm doing this all the time. Make your point of impact smack on at 100 then validate from that. If you want a 200 zero just leave your scope set on that. I can guarantee this works...

This  I think a lot of people fail to factor in the time, fuel and effort taken for reloading. Especially if you have to make a pilgrimage just to find components. Then load...

Thats all good if the factory stuff shoots well in your riffle or you can find heavy projectiles in factory loads. Most people that reload either want super accurate ammo or do so because they...

In May 2006, I bought a BRNO ZKK601 from Alan Millars Hunting & Fishing in Dunedin. I paid $450 for the rifle, and $80 to get 2" chopped off the barrel and a re-crown, as there was a bulge at the...

I haven't chronographed the 77gr but the 75gr eldm are doing about 2500fps. So pretty slow! I haven't tried any form of load development however. The 75gr has about 650+ f/lbs energy at 300 yards...

I wouldn't just assume it was DoC. Most likely a Muppet who has decided to leave them on the side of the track. As said above DoC or contract shooters will be required to remove any carcasses away...

There are alot of different opinions on that one and could be a whole thread on it's own, probably is already at least one haha. A .223 is not a long range deer rifle no matter the barrel length....
