Parker Hale rings have a little round stud that fits into a recess in the base to stop them moving. I can give you a stud free to prevent movement.

Im no pro but - I just fired a Howa superlight 16" in 308. What a rifle. It was hitting targets bang on at 300m. Phenominal rifle and am thinking about one myself . Good luck.
