Wallaby control is being carried out and looking at the data not a single one of the several contractors doing it has found any densities even slightly resembling this photo. As has been stated...

Reloder 26 works well in the .270. Used to use it behind 140 and 150gr bergers. Can't remember the loads off the top of my head but was a fair bit faster than most adi powders I tried.

Yeah the 108gr eldm seem quite well priced as far as today's standards are. And available too which is a bonus. Another one to consider is the 105gr targex. They shoot 5 shot half inch groups at 100...

Not too sure about that. Some of their newly planted blocks in Northern Hawkes Bay they have literally taken thousands of goats out of each block to the point where you seldom see many at all. They...

I have both. If you only want out to 500 then get a .308 and cut it down to 16". If you want any longer then flip a coin. 18" Tikka is the same whether it is short or long action and both calibers...

Yeah I'm in the shorten it category. If my 16" barrel .223 can kill deer fine at 250 yards with minimal energy then I think any larger caliber will be fine. I think matching the projectile to the...
