    Using baking powder instead of baking soda, in a chocolate cake recipe. Could have used it as a retread for a 777. Using salt instead of sugar.... At a young age, learning about chilli powder....

    Either drown in cold fresh water for a day and then shuck, or throw whole live paua in boiling water for a minute then straight into cold water to stop the cooking process. Then shuck them as usual....
