Around that age look out for an RC Colorado or Isuzu D-Max, both have the 3L 4JJ1 Isuzu engine and running gear. Can pick them up pretty cheap these days. Just my humble opinion.

Yep that has been done a hang over from the black powder days, A friend use to load .38 Specials with a scoop made from a cut down case with a handle soldered on worked well,

I actually have both. Interesting they have changed the scoop geometry. The old one is more slender with narrower mouth. Theoretically might mean less charge variability when you gently shake it...
