    Stephen Heath in Taranaki would take you out for a fallow or 2 at $100 to the landowner plus around $50 for his fuel etc. He is based just out of Stratford, will take you to private large scale land...

    the biggest issue in NZ is the mindset we have a queens chain......on rivers...we dont.it is only on a very few rivers..MOST waterways are still owned by surrounding landowners to centre of river...

    Doesn't matter what doc says, linz says F&G all it takes is one complaint to the police. Talk to local property owners first, then have a talk with the local police.
