About uk_exile
Biography:
I'm not british. Its a username only! I'm a kiwi, born here, lived here 29yrs then due to work moved to UK late 1990s. Returned to NZ 2003. It was while working in UK that I chose my online username for all online stuff and have kept it ever since. It's not because of any connections or loyalty to UK. Have only been back once to UK since 2003 as part of an european holiday. Can't say I hated UK but certainly disliked the lack of freedom & was just there for work. It simply wasn't me or my happy place.
Location:
Havelock/Linkwater or Ashburton Lakes

Osprey packs are great. Offer a fantastic pack for the price if you get it on sale. I have been using a 44L Talon for some time now for light weight over nighters and day hunts above the bush line....

I've got the kifaru rifle carrying system. It's awesome. Can be slung under the armpit for quick access in those spots where an animal can pop up anywhere and can also be set up to be strapped to the...

I carry mine using the straps on the side. In saying that I don’t like the butt of the rifle hanging below the bottom of the pack, find it a prick when you wanna sit with pack on etc. Prefer it to be...

Monkeys too, had one cling to my arm as a kid. Took a decent bite of my thumb, the bugger. It still hurts when I look at the scar 55 years later.

I use a Gunworks 30 cal over barrel Suppressor on my Model 2 Brno, and it's super quiet. Your 7mmRM one will be 0.75mm wider all around, but will be multiple times greater volume than a .22.. What...

uk_exile I used to run a centrefire. 223 can on my Kirss .22lr. The issue I found was that because .22 is dirtier than .223 it leaves a lot of reside in the can which is a bit of a pain to get...
