About uk_exile
Biography:
I'm not british. Its a username only! I'm a kiwi, born here, lived here 29yrs then due to work moved to UK late 1990s. Returned to NZ 2003. It was while working in UK that I chose my online username for all online stuff and have kept it ever since. It's not because of any connections or loyalty to UK. Have only been back once to UK since 2003 as part of an european holiday. Can't say I hated UK but certainly disliked the lack of freedom & was just there for work. It simply wasn't me or my happy place.
Location:
Havelock/Linkwater or Ashburton Lakes

uk_exile liked post by Bagheera On thread : Low light detail? – Binos vs scope
The binos have two lenses, go to two eyes which subjectively to me are more than added together in my brain and my opinion is that the area of the two lenses should be added together to predict low...

uk_exile liked post by GravelBen On thread : Low light detail? – Binos vs scope
Its probably more annoying when your binos are better than your scope, so you spot a deer with the binos and then can't see clearly enough through the scope to shoot it...

Yeah start with the cheaper stuff/blue box, I've been lucky in that all of my tikkas have liked cheap factory stuff. Chances are it will shoot MOD out to 300 or so and work as a bush load. Once...
