    Unless you have long arms that is quite long for someone your height. Did you get the bow from a shop? Did they measure your draw length?

    Just keep in mind that its only velocity that is effected by barrel length, accuracy isn't. My ar has a 16" barrel, shoots 62gr Sierra match kings at .6" groups no worries. Can't Remember...

    My 2c worth, the pin indentations look a bit light, it may pay to check the pin protrusion and dismantle the bolt to check for crap or a broken spring. A broken spring can cause similar issues...

    The bush is pretty thick and shitty, most of the best hunting is further back 2-3 hours. Mt Richardson is also worth a look. Flick me a PM for my phone number and I can give you some other info.
