    So I can make black powder muzzle loading barrels ,round or octagonal from 1" or a bit bigger diameter steel, bore .445", cut rifling makes it .457". Now as they are only for black powder 1215 or...

    In my experience there's no need to angle them down when shooting at long range as the bullet is basically falling from the sky on that angle anyway. Just hAve them hung from top and able to swing...
