   The conditions were extreme for shooting, when you hear "names" saying they would be delighted to be able to shoot a 5 (0.5") at 200 you realise everyone is struggling.

   I have loaded 140 gr Accubonds for my nephew in his 7mm/08 and while they did kill deer they weren't the ideal. I think you need plenty of speed with these and he was finding that once the range...

   Everyone was shooting 6PPC, a lot of the serious guys make their own projectiles, most guys were using VV N133. With 65-68 grain projectiles zipping along at 33-3500 fps. Groups are measured...

    It has a taste of it's own ... you have to be really careful with it as it is prone to being a dry meat if you do not cook it properly ... personally I prefer quail if and when you can actually shoot...
