You can still use that shooting rest just move the rifle forward so that the for end of the stock is in the front support. The rear support will be somewhere behind the pistol grip.

Bring one pair of each you have there and you'll be fine. Boots that fit is the most important consideration. Any high end boot with decent tread will suit the type of hunting you are likely to do in...
