Been a shooter from 14 years old (School cadets - 22RF, Air Training Corps - 303 Service Rifle, National Service - FN 7.62 NATO, 9mm submachinegun, varmint hunting Australia - 22/250 Rem, 12 ga claybird targets (Down the Line mainly & novelty field shoots, Trench), NZ - 12ga clay bird DTL. 50 Barrett M82, 500 S&W Magnum revolver - USA. Loved it all.

    FYI if your case is close like lapua 6.5-284 brass and lyman 308 holder you can sort the overloaded ones you fired when you changed batch of powder by whether they go in the case holder or not .:oh...

    Go the 223. I have a dedicated varment rig that i an happy with. Ar15 with suppressor, Harris bipod and dial up scope shooting 50g v or z max projectiles. It's like a 10/22 for grown ups.
