    Can't speak to the Kiwi variety, but we shoot a lot of Moose, Elk, Mule deer and Blackbear with 270win in Canada. it's plenty powerful enough for those species at normal (

    I would go 150 grain Sako Norma Federal in that order -dependant on what you can buy - I used nothing but Forest Service supplied 150 grain for years and dropped big reds very well
