Us 1948 models take a bit of maintenance. Ive had a bless'd run really. A new valve and clean pipes will see me pull out and pass Nimrod going up the dirtiest spur. Thanks for the best wishes folks.

Yes. Otukota was good for heads. Alex Henderson (used to be "Cooch" on the old forum) pulled 3 good ones in I think successive years out of there. Early 1980's.
