xtightg liked post by Tahr On thread : Grandad Delight
I never imagined that at age 71 I would be taking my 14 year old Grandson out hunting. But there we were, him and me out camping in my little piece of Eldorado. Of course, the stars only align if...

The pig was walking across a slip and the scope was on 3.5x. Good or fluke got the pork on the deck. My wife is always asking for me to shoot a pig. My daughter missed a pig at 70yds about a year...

I've been tinkering, well to be more precise I've been doing some 3D design in TinkerCad and getting it printed at my local library. I need a project to do, something relatively small but...

xtightg liked post by Tahr On thread : Thermal gear. Should we have it?
The older I have got the more important thermals have become for me. I really feel the cold nowadays so wouldn't be without them. I still prefer Merino.

Thermal is just a progression, it has its good & bad points, it isn't a magic bullet, it certainly is helpful...less so in summer. Think sounders on boats, except they are a bigger advantage....

Just did exactly that, acquired a .223 for Wallabies and the occasional deer, weekend gone, passed on a big red at 350ys, that would have been toast with a poo4three - .223 about to be on the block.

Clog them up and inconvenience them as much as you can, it might make them see sense that what they did was implement a stupid law that will cost the govt a heap.
